For anyone that is on the fence about deciding whether or not to book this trip, do it. It is great boat and skilled captain with absolutely zero tackle, boat, or equipment malfunctions. Those that have taken a few charters know how nice that is to have. Gear is in very good condition, and captain put us on good bait and had us hooked up to target fish within an hour. Small adjustments throughout the day kept us on the bite the entire time on some very pressured fish. Captain Scooter accommodated any request we had, and was happy to explain what the plan was, and ask us throughout the trip if we wanted to try anything different. We will book again.

Captain Scooter called and offered us the opportunity to reschedule because it was a windy day and the water was a little choppy.  Because of our timeline with family in from out of town for the event, we chose to proceed.  We didn’t catch as many as we’d have liked, but still had a very good time and enough to cook for dinner.  Captain Scooter did his best to help us catch fish, and everybody had a great time.  There will always be off days fishing.  This happened to be one of them.  I’ll definitely schedule more trips with Captain Scooter.  I imagine just about anyone can make a fishing trip fun when the fish are biting like crazy.  He made it fun on an off day by giving us a lot of local history.  Even my wife and mother-in-law had a good time.
