Had a great morning on the water. Captain Bernie and Deck Hand Mark were friendly and accommodating from the beginning. Most of our fisherman were inexperienced, but Mark took the time to work with us until we started to get the hang of it. Caught a ton of red snapper.

Great experience, would definitely recommend!

Our group of four adults and three children spent the first hour bait fishing. Got over 100 bait fish. It was fun by itself. Then we went fishing for king mackerel and mahi-mahi for the next couple of hours.  We caught 12 mackerel and one mahi-mahi. Great experience. Weather and seas were calm.  The first mate, Ernie, did a great job handling the fishing tackle for us and baiting the hooks. Also was great for filleting the catch once we arrive back at the dock.

We had great weather clam seas and 82 degrees, so it should have been a great day!  Everything started out great until the Captain went to the pilot house and the deckhand Mark became a rude smartass with a few of my guest / friends. This for three of the guys set a bad tone that never really changed through the day! The fishing was okay “not great” and Mark never would give us a straight answer on what we were fishing for.  We caught two Scamps that were in the cooler but some how Mark managed to separate those two fish to keep for himself at the end of the day! “Super shady move” he was kind of argumentative and very harsh in the way he gave directions as if he didn’t really want to be there.  The boat was nice and the covered back area was great to have, the listing on fishing booker says the boat had Air Conditioning in the cabin but it must have been broken because it was hot as heck in there and they had three very dirty fans setup that had been there for a while!  They seemed to struggle all day to put us on the fish and when we did finally hit a good spot that they were biting they told us to pull up the rods because they needed to head back to shore, if was frustrating to say the least.  The long and short of it is I will not be chartering this boat again and would not recommend!!! I have done 15 deep sea fishing trip in FL & AL this was the least amount of fish and poorest customer service ever….. 👎

Trip was alright. Went fishing for bait first, then some trolling which we caught a couple fish. After awhile the deckhand asked us if we wanted to do bottom fishing and we said yes. He seemed reluctant which was odd and asked us again and we said yes. I’m guessing it’s more work for bottom fishing. When the deckhand gave us instructions he kind of just ran through it quickly and expected us to know what to do. While bottom fishing,  the deckhand seemed to have an attitude telling everyone what to do. It was some of our first times deep sea fishing so I feel like they should know the learning curve. The spots we went to didn’t really have a lot of fish. There was one spot where when we first drop lines, a big fish had snap the line. For most captains, this would be a sign all the other fish would be spooked but we sat there still dropping bait with not even a nibble. The deckhand told one of our guys to pull up his lines at least 3 times because there was probably no bait on it anymore. All 3 times it was the same bait still on there. The mood on the boat was a bit more awkward than usual. Overall, we caught in total about 15-20 okay size fishes but the rating was not base on that. Didn’t talk to the captain much except in the start and end of the trip. I’ve been on a couple deep sea fishing trips and this one was one of the worst experiences. For the price, I’d try to go on a different boat or pay a little bit more for a better reviewed boat.
