We met at the boat behind Brotula’s Restaurant at 6 am sharp.
Loaded up and headed out for our 6 hour AM trip.
Caught a lot of fish but Trigger Fish were out of season and we had to through back dozens of these delicacies.
The ones we could keep Red Snapper and other Snapper species. We also caught Bonita, and Mahi.
We trolled out and back, bottom fished for about 3-4 hours of the total trip time in the Gulf.
Also we fished for bait fish the first 30 minutes of the trip.
Overall, great trip. I’ve gone out with Bernie on the Windwalker II for 10-15 years. He has a lifetime of experience will keep you safe and make your trip fun.
6-10 people on this PRIVATE chartered vessel is better than any ‘Party Boat’.
The money is well worth the experience YOLO.

Had a great time, Captain Bernie was super nice and put us on the fish.  I guess there was some miscommunication where we had a larger party than they anticipated.  But they managed and still supported our trip.  Our fishing guide/rigger did a good job ensuring we all got a chance to fish and made sure we were safe.  Only suggestion is that he was all business, would be nice for him to interact and encourage the people fishing, much of the time he was correcting or telling people to stop or they were doing it wrong.  That’s the only feedback, but he worked his butt off, and appreciate him working with all of us.  Thank you for a job well done.
