May have been the heat, but we didn’t catch any fish. Reeled in crabs eating bait, a small stingray, gar and one shark. Despite the large size of the Bay Area, we only fished in 2 small areas which were within 1/2 mile of one another. Captain was friendly and boat ran good but it didn’t seem like he was trying to find us some fish. Previous trips I’ve been on, Captains move if no one has hooked up in a few minutes. Sorry you felt like that the water temp was very high. Ive fished 99% of the bay and no matter how many times we moved it would have been the same outcome. The spots I took you are known for big fish..water temperature plays a big roll in how the fish bite unfortunately the water temp was close to 90 degrees. The fish were there just not feeding.live bait and frozen bait that is caught from the area is always the best which is what was used

Thumbs up to Captain Doug and Alan for providing us an enjoyable day. We all had a good time but picked a rainy week for vacation and had to run from a few squalls. Fish didn’t cooperate too well but most caught something. The kids had a few big ones break off and brought one shark to the boat. That was fun!
