We’ve tried over a dozen fishing charters out of Naples and Marco over the years and this trip goes to the top of our list of recommendations! Captain Ben was on time, had awesome bait fish, and never left us waiting on a baited rod. He is so knowledgeable about the area and fishing techniques. He put us on fish for the entire 4 hour excursion. I couldn’t believe time had passed so quickly. If we didn’t get bites at one spot, he didn’t hesitate to move us to a different spot. Each placement provided bites and fish. Would give this Captain an 20 out of 10!

Captain Ben, in addition to putting us on fish, shared his knowledge of the area and taught us how to work the bait to catch fish.  We had cool temperatures, 30MPH gusts and a very low tide to contend with.  But we came home with enough Spotted Sea Trout and Mangrove Snapper for a couple of meals.  Had a great time.  Best for inshore fishing with a small group.

This was my second trip out with Captain Ben, and both times have been great! On this day it was pretty windy but despite the tougher conditions, he still found great spots and was able to put us on solid fish throughout the day. My friend and I each were able to land a good size redfish and we also caught several snook, jacks, and a few other species. Ben is an excellent guide and would highly recommend him!

Capt. Ben Geroy was the best Guide i have ever had. put us on the fish for sure and even reached out to me on my half day afternoon trip concerned about rain and the morning was still open. did a morning start instead and went into the afternoon !! He’s that good !! and did a fair price for 7 hr. day. I will definitely be booking with him again and he is #1 on my referral list. I’ve been hiring guides for a long time and Capt. Ben nailed it . very informative , helpful and likes to joke around. And puts you on the fish !! just up to you to catch them !!

We did a half day (AM) trip with Captain Ben and couldn’t have asked for a better day! He took us to several different spots throughout the day and we were able to catch a lot of different species. We caught a bunch of snook and jacks, and were even able to catch a few other species including a tarpon, redfish, seatrout, ladyfish, and mangrove snapper. All around it was a great day and Captain Ben did a great job! He is an excellent captain/guide and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to do some serious fishing in the Naples backwater!
