My son and I went fishing for his 12th birthday. We had an awesome time and caught several beautiful red fish. Captain Chris was knowledgeable and had plenty of equipment and bait to keep us fishing the entire trip. He was great with my son as well teaching him to correctly use the tackle to catch fish. What a memorable experience!

This was our first salt water fishing trip and it was awesome! My son and I wanted to do a little fishing while we were down at the coast. We hooked up with Captain Chris and what an experience. We got to the dock early and Chris already had the boat in the water. We were early enough to catch some great bait fish in the creeks with a casting net. Moved on and got on some nice reds. My son reeled in a nice 28.5 inch red, witch was to big to keep so it was a bitter sweet moment. The best part was we had the entire boat with all the best gear all to ourselves. Gave my son the experience of a lifetime. Definitely cannot wait until we can get back on the water with Captain Chris! Recommend this guy to anyone wanting to do some fishing with children, he did a awesome job with us!

The Captain, Chris was wonderful!  Chris stayed in contact with us the whole time about the weather and took us all over different parts of the bay to try and catch fish. Being on the water was awesome and Chris made it fun! Highly recommended!

The captian put us in some
great spots to catch fish. Even though the bite wasn’t great, we had a blast.  My son caught a few reds and a giant catfish.  We will definitely book with Tails Up again!
