Massively disappointing trip. Only aim seemed to be to catch tuna for the boat with small lures and small hooks. We caught nothing. Eventually had to ask the captain to try something different so we went inshore for the last 45 minutes, and caught four very small reef fish . We did hook one very big fish , using small chopped up prawns for bait but it snapped off because breaking strain of the line wasn’t up to the job.

There was no communication between the crew and us. No assistance . No ideas of what to try differently. Nothing except three small rods with small tackle were put out whilst the crew member spent all his time on the phone inside the cabin

On the way back the boat started to belch smoke and the crew lifted the engine cover and was sprayed with hot oil right next to where we were sat. Again no communication or apology .

Not catching is sometimes expected but the whole experience with the crew , equipment and boat was very poor.

As alway it’s all on the day . Dew to bad weather we couldn’t catch a many sardines for targeting the predatory fish . But the skipper and mate were spot on great .  I would fish with them any time . Hopefully soon. There hospitality was great and I felt that I had fished with them for many years .

Excellent half day fishing.  Attentive staff, well equipped boat and service.  Would definately recommend and use again
