I hired Captain Sully based on reviews.  The reviews were accurate. Capt. Sully was ready to depart at our designated time.  Friendly conversation and clean boat.

Spot 1: targeted sheepshead, red drum, mangrove snapper.  No fish.

Spot 2: targeted grouper and flounder.  Active bite.  Caught 5-6 gag grouper, 5-6 red snapper.

Spot 3: targeted red drum. Immediately hooked up to bull red. Sadly lost at the boat. Would have been a PB.  Oh well.  Captain caught a black sea bass.

Spot 4: (back to spot 1).  No activity with live bait. Switched to casting jigs and gotcha plugs and slayed bluefish. Catch and released 8-10.  Fun fight.

My goal was to tie into some drag pullers and possibly luck into some dinner.  Captain Sully respected my desire and provided and enjoyable fishing experience.

Brian was a great cap and really took care of my kids.  He mainly focused on my two boys (10 and 7) reeling in the fish.  At one point my oldest said “greatest fishing day ever” and he has fished his whole life.  We caught a Bonita, plenty of red snapper but out of season, trigger fish and more.  The seas were rough so we couldn’t get out further because of the tropical storm. Overall our experience was great.  Captain Sully is a very kind hearted person with enough “edge” to really compete with the best of them.  Thanks for the great trip

My husband, 8 yr old, 6 yr old and I all went out with Captain Sully for a 5 hour nearshore trip. If you’ve been out with kids, you know how important it is to be flexible. He was the perfect captain for our family and made it such a fun day for all of us. We did catch and release with the following: Bonita (we used it for live bait), trigger fish, Spanish mackerel, red snapper, bull red and sharks. He is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. I highly recommend, he is a very nice guy and did an excellent job.

Took my son out with Captain Sully today. What a great experience we were given. Captain Sully heard my son talk nonstop about catching a shark, so he tried to make that happen. While we didn’t land a shark, he did get us a Red Fish that my son is still bragging about. Even though we booked a trip out in the ocean, we soon found out that we are meant for the swells. Luckily Captain Sully was very accommodating and took us back in to calmer waters which is where we caught the “monster fish”. I highly recommend Captain Sully especially if you have younger children. Thanks Captain!
