Captain Tom gets it done. While it’s true that you can’t guarantee catching fish…your chances improve tremendously when you have experience at the helm. Four black fin tuna, two mahi, one kingfish, one barracuda, and to top it all off…a sailfish with a fight as the final catch of the 3/4 day. Three delicious meals later and memories of a lifetime for me and my son, we’re thankful for all Capn Tom did to make it an incredible day.

Captain Tom was helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. We ended up cutting our trip short due to high winds, waves, and seasickness, however Captain Tom made sure every passenger caught a fish before bringing us in. Would definitely recommend a trip with Captain Tom however, I would also suggest checking the weather forecast before booking. Huge waves make for 6 hours of holding on for dear life, rather than a nice day fishing.

Thank you Danielle for the great review. I would, however like to point out that no-one has to “hold on for dear life” on my boat. I do not go out into the ocean if the conditions are perilous. I am sorry the guys got seasick but sometimes the ocean is rough and sometimes its calm. I recommend an over the counter motion sickness medication for anyone prone to or if you are not certain you’re susceptible to seasickness. Also you can cancel your trip with 48 hours notice and receive a full refund of the deposit.
Sorry for rambling on here but as a rule, when you reserve a boat for 6 hours you must pay for the agreed 6 hour trip. Because I allowed you to change your trip to a 4 hour trip and pay less, you should not expect this from any other boat..
Thanks again and I look forward to fishing with you guys again this summer. Hopefully we will have better weather this time. Happy New Year to you all!!
