First charter was a couple months ago with friends. This time my family visited St Augustine with me. My youngest grandson was thrilled to catch some fish, as were we! All four of us happy. Captain David is just a wonderful guy, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Great White for your next Charter. We are definitely having our fresh catch for dinner tonight! Thank you! Wonderful experience. Captain Dave communicated with us before the trip, answering all our questions.  He is upfront, very honest, letting us know about possibility of hit or miss in August (and the weather).  Finger mullet run better in September so catches are better as well. Dave is a local, doing charters for the past 20 years.  Tons of experience, laid back, good conversationalist.  He knows all the spots and also gets updates from other captains.  Weather in the bay, inlet and channels was perfect. Overcast with a nice breeze. Trolling motor was down but we had no problems anchoring with the current. Dave provides all equipment and bait, offering assistance for beginners.  Boat was top notch. Offshore weather and waves unpredictable, so I would recommend inshore for everybody. Lots of bites but not many fish.  Either way, that’s fishing and it was a great time. My casting improved and I look forward to another charter with Dave. P.S. - Surprises for everyone at the end.

David is a good man and a good fisherman. He was responsive to my early emails, personable during the trip, and helpful and knowledgeable about the sport. This was my first trip with my two sons and nephew and, after catching a king mackerel and lemon shark in the first hour when the action in the first place we were fishing slowed down, he took us to fish behind shrimp boats where we caught five more sharks and had a tarpon jump which David informed me was a fisherman’s delight in and of itself even though the fish got off the line. All around, David’s professionalism, attention to detail, and thoroughness from beginning to end was outstanding.

Captain Dave did a great job for my son and I on a difficult cold and windy day.  He worked hard at finding fish for us and we were very satisfied with his services.  We would definitely go with him again.  Knowledgeable local captain with nice boat and equipment.

Could not be happier with our pick to fish with Captain David! He was extremely helpful, personable, and did everything possible to make sure we caught fish. He was never satisfied until he put us on some bigger fish. Captain David even cleaned our fish for us and told us where to take it to have it cooked and recommended how to have it cooked.  We will definitely be booking again when we are back in town!
