Buddy was awesome with my son TJ(11yrs old)….My son’s goal was to catch all kinds of species for this trip….after finding a ton of Spanish Mack we decided to move to the bridges and had a blast catching 13 different species and the bonus sighting of a 6-7ft Tiger Shark was the cherry on top!Highly recommended if you wanna use lighter gear and actually catch fish instead of trolling and snapping wire offshore

Every year we anxiously await our fishing trips to the Keys knowing that Buddy will put us on the fish.  We caught the “fishing bug” years ago first on board a party boat.  We moved onto charters and we were fortunate enough to meet Captain Buddy early on.  He has guided us for several years in a row and we couldn’t ask for a better guide who adjusts according to weather and conditions.  We have a great time on the water catching “eating fish” to battling a shark or tarpon.  Buddy’s experience and patience show everytime we go out and can’t wait for our next trip!

Captain Buddy put us on fish ensuring all 4 of us caught multiple fish and even different species, 9 of them including sharks. He was patient and kind - we would recommend him to anyone and we would absolutely fish with him again.

Captain Buddy is not only a great Captain but a great guy. Buddy is very knowledgeable and was able to get us on fish on a windy day. He was able to find areas where he knew the wind would be less. Have plenty of fish for dinner. If anyone is thinking about fishing around Marathon in the Keys look no further than Buddy Lapointe. You will catch fish!

My husband & boys (age 13, 11 &8) had a great time with Captain Buddy. He was great with the kids & they all caught fish.
