I only booked the trip but the 7 people who went on this fishing trip absolutely raved about the experience. They told me that Hamish was an exceptional host and is a very friendly guy. They caught loads of fish too which was an added bonus. All enjoyed this very much! Thanks Hamish!

It was horrible 7 of us went for a fishing and we only did was 1hour dont know we did it more cause they were looking for the fish we only got 2 fish overall It was horrible it didnt worth of 750 to pay them I dont think i will do this trip again

So the time trying to catch king fish for you doesn’t count as fishing, that was an extra to try and make your adventure special. On a day when the wind and tides are running finding fish can be difficult we caught over 20 fish at 5 different locations. As for bringing an extra person and thinking its ok that I should take him out for free. Really!!

Felt very let down to travel from the south island up to Russell with 4 anglers it was rather embarrassing to take friends on what was meant to be an enjoyable trip would not recommend this vessel.

Sorry we could not make the trip more enjoyable for you. It was a pity the original plan for three anglers had to be changed because we cannot satisfactorily sleep 5 on the boat
