Capt Miguel is an awesome guy. We did 4 hours with him in the evening and turns out I only needed 3. After a couple of hours of reeling up mangrove snapper and a small tarpon , one of the reels started screaming . Watching that monster tarpon take off jumping out of the water was unreal. A good hour fight , Miguel gave me tips and tricks on handling the fight as he maneuvered the boat keeping us in the best position . It’s fishing, not catching , so I keep my expectations low and hope for the best, but Miguel put me on what felt like a once in a life time tarpon and I’ll never forget it.

Our Captain Fernando was OUTSTANDING. Put us on fish right off the bat. We caught fish steadily, both snook and tarpon. He has a great attitude, fun to hang out with, trip felt like I was back home Tennessee, fishing with a buddy, just relaxing and fishing. Which is EXACTLY what I was hoping for, we are on vacation to chill, not stress the small crap. Will do this again some day, God willing. You cannot go wrong with this young man as Captain. If you’re a fisherman, you know fishing doesn’t always mean catching, nothing is guaranteed in this sport, it’s the experience and memories that matter. He delivered on both…. Have great memories, and a few pictures to jostle them back when I get older and start to forget things haha. Book the trip. Tarpon are SAVAGE!!!

Captain Fernando was awesome! Great Dude, professional, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable about the area and feeding pattern of Tarpon. Put us on fish pretty much all day. I personally caught two, first one was about 40lbs but the second measured 65 inches and weighed between 108 and 115lbs! Fought it for 45 minutes. Great experience with Captain Fernando and I will never go again with any other Captain!
