Even with less than ideal fishing conditions (full moon the night prior, windy, rising tide), Captain Joel was able to put us on some fish (Speckled Trout). Once the area was fished out, he moved us to another spot until the action quieted down and continued to repeat.  The conditions made it difficult to fish for Red Fish but the conditions were less than favorable so we were unsuccessful. Great charter and Captain Joel had plenty of local fishing knowledge.

Came for the day on a whim for my son n I..  when other boats were slow, he still put us on fish.  Great Day n staying on the Barge was clutch.  Kudos to Brett too, the Barge Host n Chef!:)

Great experience with captain Nick. Very knowledgeable of the fishing grounds. First stop hook up under 5mins. Limit out on drums and some reds too. My dad was so tired from catching so much fish. Every new location we caught fish. I would recommend captain Nick to everyone that want to catch it up! Thanks captain Nick!

Me and a buddy had a great day with Captain Nick.  We caught a lot of fish including flounder, red fish, trout, sheep’s head, and black drum.  We kept a few fish and Nick cleaned and packed them in ice for us.  We ate lunch at Boutte’s restaurant where we launched from and it was delicious.  Nice people. Good time

Captain Nick kept us on fish all day. He was very knowledgeable and kept us laughing the whole trip. My brother and I caught some of the biggest fish we’ve ever caught thanks to Nick’s experience on the water. If you’re planning a charter trip with Bayou Obsession, request Captain Nick!
