My wife and I went out on an early morning fishing trip with Captain James. He picked us up promptly from the boat ramp in Anna Maria Island with a baitwell loaded with thick bait! He immediately put us on some really great fishing holes. We hit the flats and quickly hooked up with a nice school of redfish. We also got into some snappers where we a lot of fun. Once we wore them out we went back inside the mangroves and hit a few holes loaded with snook. I yanked a monster out of the bushes in one of his top spots and my wife landed a few nice puppies that were fun for her to fight. Capt. James did a really great job giving her insightful pointers on casting and setting the hook. Once we brought one fish to the boat he had another reel loaded up with a bait to fire back out. Did a really nice job chumming it up and keeping the bite on throughout the day! We will definitely be booking again with Capt. James for our next guided trip. Thanks again Captain!!

An awesome touring/fishing guide, couldn’t have had a better time / experience during our visit of Sarasota for our money!

Solid day fishing with a buddy on captain James’ boat. Took us to multiple spots where we had tight lines all day. Pb on a snook, and just a great all around experience. Caught snook, mangroves and jacks! Will be returning to tarpon fish with this guy next time.

He did everything he could to get us and keep us on fish. Great communication and a really nice guy. He picked the perfect sunset and we saw several dolphins. Will book him everytime we come back. Don’t hesitate. Only problem we had was we couldn’t fish longer with him.
