Ben is a great captain.  Very personable, helpful and accommodating.  We booked a shark trip…when we had no luck he suggested we try for a different type of fish. He gave us a couple of options with a suggestion.  We took his suggestion, and both reeled in a couple of good sized redfish.  Definitely a great way to end the day. I highly recommend Great Southern Fishing Charters.

This was our first time shark fishing and even though we didn’t land one in the boat, Captain Ben and his deck hand Tim did a fantastic job of getting sharks on the line with some interesting changes in the water.  Seeing that 5’ Black tip alongside the boat my daughter reeled in before it broke the line was awesome !! Looking forward to booking another trip, HIGHLY recommend!!

We all had a great time, Captain Ben was very professional and down to earth, got us a bunch of fish tried a few different spots. Was an all-around great experience. If I could give it more stars, I would.

We had so much fun with Capt. Tim!! We caught several fish and Tim was constantly making sure we were catching fish and were doing ok. We went to several different locations. There were 4 of us and he kept our poles baited the whole time! I can’t recommend this charter enough! Will definitely use them again the next time we are in Alabama!!

Professional but personal experience. We had a guest with special mobility needs. Both Captain Ben and Captain Tim could not have been more helpful. They were genuinely concerned about our experience more so than any commercial interest. Captain Tim is an exceptional, quality young man.
