Couldn’t have asked for a better captain & 1st mate.  Our charter was scheduled to leave at 0400 but because of high winds, heavy downpour and lighting we couldn’t go.  Captain Brian delayed our departure until the weather broke at 0730 and then extended the completion of our charter beyond what was needed to compensate for our late departure.  Both Captain Brian and his 1st mate worked continuously to change lures, adjust line setup & depth to ensure our charter was a success.  Their ( Captain’s & 1st Mate’s) concern was obviously with our best interest in mind.  I would sail again with these two any time.

I have fished with Slam Dunk and Captain Steve on multiple occasions. If we don’t limit out it’s usually because of an overzealous hand on the reel (Mine). Steve goes where the fish are. He studies the wind, the currents and the water temp…..makes an educated guess on the where the fish are and we go out and hammer them. I’ve not been skunked ever with Slam Dunk. If you can’t fish with Steve (he mighty busy) ask to fish with Captain Brian. Captain Brian was Steve’s mate the first time I fished with Slam Dunk and he also knows what’s going on. I wasn’t able to fish with Steve this year (2018) because I had some issues come up that kept me from it…..I have though, made my reservations for 2019.
