We had a great time with Captain Wayne. We are from Colorado and are used to not getting that many bites, but he didn’t let that happen. We were catching a lot of snappers and even a few other fish. We kept some of the snappers for dinner and he gave us a great recommendation for some places in the area that would cook our catch. This was a great addition to our vacation in The Keys.

Thanks for the nice words Charlie. These mangrove snappers were no “lunkers”, but it was a triple header. Bigger ones did come later though. It was inspiring to see a father and three children having a great time together just bending some rods. I hope you have a great time the rest of your stay here in the fabulous Florida Keys and maybe I’ll see you again another year.

My brother and I booked Wayne for a 3/4 day trip. Arrived to fishing grounds right at sunrise and, BOOM, it was hammer time! Caught a couple nice sized and hard fighting jacks right away, missed a couple tarpon, then hooked up with a hard fighting tarpon that we were able to wear out and bring boat side. Finished the day off taking home some Lane and Mangrove snapper. Also caught and released grouper, puffer, porgy, and pinfish. Captain Wayne did such a great job!! Thank you! Will book again.
