I chartered El Mae w/ Captn Mae and first mate Lazaro for my husbands 40th bday trip to Panama! We go out on boats OFTEN but had no idea what to expect on a smaller fishing charter and I have to tell you it was incredible! finding the public dock was easy and the boat is in great condition and well equipped. We stopped for live shrimp bait (highly recommend you add this small fee) and were off deep into the canal to hunt for fish. Within literal seconds of anchoring we started reeling them in, seriously we caught 10 fish within mins! Including a large snapper we then ate after Captn Mae cooked it for us while we sunbathed and explored Taboga island. If you want to catch TONS of fish, learn about the history of panama and have a curated experience on the water i highly recommend booking the El Mae! Truly the highlight of our trip!

We fished but only caught a few fish. I think the crew did everything they could to catch fish but they just did not bite very well. A good experience overall.  It is called fishing and not just catching.  We had a good time .

My dad and I had an incredible two days fishing with Captain Melvin and first mate Donato. We reeled in Bonitos, Mahi, Jacks, and Mackerel. They put in non-stop effort to ensure we had a successful catch. Their knowledge of fishing spots and techniques was impressive, and the music added to the fun atmosphere. Overall, it was an amazing experience! I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

We booked an 8 hour fishing trip, leaving out of the Vista Mar Marina in San Carlos, Panama.  Before long, Captain Jorge and mate Miguel had us on fish.  We caught several mahi-mahi, bonitos, a tuna and a Jack Crevelle.  The action was almost nonstop. My arms were hurting from reeling in all the fish. 
After a productive day of fishing, the crew took us to an area near the beach so we could swim and relax.  Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this charter.  I will definitelybe back for some great fishing!

Trip of the life time.

In 2 hours, caught 11 big fish (corvina, red snapper and pompano) and let go 10 fishes. We got about 30-40 hits.

The crew is amazing, very kind, accommodating. The water is beautiful. I’m relatively new to fishing. They certainly put me at ease.

Definitely would like to come back.
