Had a fantastic day with the Silky crew. Dave the captain called me the day before and answered all of my questions and gave detailed instructions. Day of, we arrived at 6:15, jumped on the boat and away we went! Our lines were in the water 100% of the time! Cam the first mate, worked SO HARD the whole time giving instruction, managing lines, helping us reel in fish, providing information, and so much more! Dave the captain trolled the entire time, using his knowledge and resources to take us to the fish, and worked so hard to find us as many fish as we could get! Both were so personable and friendly! They provided bottled water, had a nice air conditioner cabin and two bathrooms, a refrigerator for food/snacks we brought, and were very considerate. All in all, we caught FIVE marlins, one Ono (wahoo) and two fish that got off the hook!! One of the best fishing days ever!! Our boat was the talk of the harbor!! Fantastic service, amazing crew, what a great day! Will be one of the highlights of our trip! I cant recommend them enough!!! Thanks so much guys!!

  We went out with Capt. John, and mates David and Jordan; and though the fish didn’t cooperate, it was not due to lack of effort. From changing lure colors and sizes to hitting all the spots we could in our 6 hr trip, this captain and crew’s effort to catch fish was impressive. We had great conversation about the islands, fishing and more. The whole crew was just as invested in catching fish as we were. Next time I’m in the Kona area I am going to give Silky Sportfishing a call.

Yes, Captain and fisherman leader, really knowledgeable, we have six hours tour which is really goo, in the middle time we ask captain to go snorkel somewhere and he bring us to Captain Cook please, it’s pretty sweet spot, and also who do the snorkel it was really refresh. Of course it’s not take long time to see what you would like and go back to fission trip, Captain clean, and fillet the fish for us and we cook that fish on the dinner same day. It was awesome!

We just want to say how lucky we were to have been with these guys. We were lucky enough to have gotten a day with all 3. They made sure were were taken care of with food and drinks nice clean boat. Then to show us what we would be using for fish and what to expect. Got to see whales and dolphins and then the fish. They strapped us in and we reeled them in. The conversations were great with all 3. We will be back to see you guys.
