GREAT guy. Great conversations. He was awesome to my kids and we caught 12 reds, 2 rays (boo!!!), and came close to snagging to monsters.
He knows these waters better than anyone I’ve seen and I live in Charleston and am on the water often. Highly recommended.

Capt Rob met my wife and I at Steamboat Landing in Edison. Had a beautiful ride out to fish.  Spectacular scenery and fishing was a lot of fun. Caught Reds and a few other varieties found in the local waters. Highly recommend Capt Rob. Put us on fish and had some great stories to share.

I am an avid fisherman wanting to learn more about Edisto redfishing. Captain Rob was exactly what I was looking for. He has lived in the area all his life and was extremely knowledgeable. He taught me where to look to find reds as well as how to fish for them. I wanted a fishing patrner and not just someone telling me what to do. He filled all of those wishes. Really fun guy. I enjoyed every moment. I would highly recommend him whether you are a serious fisherman or a family looking for a great experience on the water.

I brought my wife, my son and my wife’s friend out with Captain Ron.  The first spot he gave us popping corks with live bate that resulted in 2 keeper Redfish within 20 minutes.  He made sure everyone knew the rules of the boat, while being extremely gracious and teaching as he went.  He’s a charmer for sure, and he also knows his business.  When the girls caught their black tip sharks he helped set up and bring in, he gave them that first catch everyone remembers.

Highly recommend experiencing a fishing charter with Capt. Rob! Capt. Rob is a very knowledgeable guide, leading us to snag multiple flounder, a red fish, and even a stingray. But this is not what makes charters with Capt. Rob special, it’s the endless great stories he has with wildlife and was willing to share. By the end of the charter, we felt like we were apart of his family and had known him for years.
