I Took my two young boys and wife fishing with Captain John. I told John that my boys were ok with drift fishing. The rods and tackle were easy for my boys to handle. My boys were cold but there was enough fish activity to keep them busy. We drifted two hours for trout and two hours for bass. My youngest caught the 12 lb lake trout and my oldest caught two beautiful rainbows with one jumping out of the water many times on its retrieval. We caught plenty of small mouth bass. Great trip! Two coworkers and myself were in town and found ourselves with an unexpected free day. Captain John was able to book us on short notice. The entire operation was first class. Captain John was one of the most knowledgeable guides I have ever had the pleasure of fishing with. He was able to put us on a limit of walleyes despite changing weather conditions that seemed to be giving the other fisherman on the lake fits!
