Captain Red and KJ were great! They explained where we were going via GPS unit, provided history of the islands, and gave us a wonderful experience! KJ managed the lines and was frequently tending to them to make sure we had some fish to go home with. The chop was a little rough in some spots so if you are prone to sea sickness be weary.
The boat has an on board restroom, sink and cooler. They provide you with water and Coors light or similar. We went in the morning and it was nice to still have the rest of the day to ourselves as we got back in about noon.
The black fin tuna was enough for lunch, dinner and more for 4 people. Captain red cleaned the fish for us and gave us a bag to carry it in. You also have the option of selling your fish on the dock or giving it to the crew.
I highly recommend this fishing excursion if you are looking for an experience with a local that is very laid back.
We also brought a portable speaker with us and weโre allowed to play our own music.
