Roy took the two of us out for a 4 hour trip.
He positioned us in locations where the fish were biting, as he is quite knowledgeable.
We caught around 20-25 fish in that 4 hours, approximately 3 hours of actual lines-in-water. Roy has a good sense of humor and is laid back, and will instruct novice fisherman- and also assist avid anglers. He cleaned our keepers, and it was a good day of fishing. I would recommend Captain Roy to anyone looking to go out and actually go to where the fish are. He did not sit us down for extended periods where there was no action, when a spot went dry- he moved us onto a spot where we’d get hits. He’s only happy when his clients are catching fish.

Roy knew exactly where to go to get monster snook. My brother pulled a 34” snook as his second fish. It was a nice and relaxing trip because Roy made it that way. He was there ready to bait the line as soon as we needed it. His boat was a nice smooth ride and quick enough to get us where we needed to be with plenty of time to fish. Overall it was an enjoyable and memorable experience with a great and experienced guide.

Roy was very knowledgeable and made our day with laughter. Feels like we knew him as a friends. Our main purpose was for my husband to land a snook and he did. We won’t talk about the 2 he almost landed, another fish story Thank you Capt. Roy!
