One of the best fishing days we had in a long time. Eric put us on the fish early, too many to count of Spanish mackerel and a number of Bonita which we were not able to get in the boat but great time trying to bring them in. Switched over to snook and caught a good number of those plus a barracuda. Eric is patient and always pointing out good tips for better fishing, friendly, and we look forward to going out with him again in the future.

Captain Eric is excellent.  Every time we have booked with Captain Eric, he has done everything possible to give us a safe and enjoyable experience.  He has always put us on fish and we go home with enough fish to eat right away and to put in the freezer for future meals.  He is extremely knowledgeable about the fish, laws / regulations,  and waters in the
area.  I recommend Captain Eric.

This was our first family fishing trip, we decided on two hrs just in case.  the goal was for our little one (7 years old) to enjoy the experience which he did.

The day was gorgeous, we didn’t bring anything back but rest assure NOT the captain’s fault… 6 of us throwing and reeling and the same time the captain was busy putting new bait every time and we was cool about that. We had some big ones but inexperience on our end left the bests ones on the water, some bait fish for next time was enough for our little one to see how fun this could be.

As with everything experienced gives us lessons and I will share here:  1 we went on Memorial Day weekend … hundreds of boats on the water I’m sure made also a difference, 2 follow guidance of captain on how to pull them out of the water!!! Hahaha… bottom line: We are coming back in August!!!  See you then Eric!

This was our second trip with Captain Eric and it was magnificent!  Everyone in our group (ages ranging from 10 to late 40s) caught a variety of sizable fish. The Captain filleted our catch allowing us to enjoy our bounty at home with family. Highly recommend!

Captain Eric was fantastic. He knew exactly where to find all the fish and was excellent with accommodating us novice anglers. We caught multiple kinds of fish which we were able to take the trout that were in season to have fried up for us later. Also saw some sea turtles, dolphins and a nice big nurse shark! I would highly recommend Gulfcart charters to anyone looking to do some serious fishing or just in it for a good time.
