Great day fishing with Capt Dave!  He was very knowledgeable and provides all we needed for a great morning fishing trip.  Got a couple really large fish on but unfortunately didn’t land them!  We did catch our lunch and Capt Dave recommended a great spot to cook our fish.  We will definitely fish with Capt Dave the next time we are in St Augustine!

Was originally going to go offshore but due to weather stayed inshore and disappointment was quickly turned to a lot of fun with captain Dave.  Caught fish almost from the time we started until we finished, 11 different types of fish caught so you never knew what was coming up next.  He definitely made the most of the change in plans!  Thanks for a great morning!

We specifically told Captain David that we wanted to get some Kings and that’s what we did. It was amazing and we limited out. He was very open to whatever we wanted and continuously made the trip fun and entertaining. Boat was very nice and trip was the best! He is very knowledgeable and a great guy to learn from and fish with. Will definitely be going again :)

My two boys and I were looking for a new experience for them, and we chose an ocean fishing adventure.  Capt Ballard called me within an hour of booking the trip a month prior and was consistently attentive making the start to the trip very stress free.  Unfortunately, weather the night prior made for rough seas that kept us from our original plan.  Capt Ballard presented us a couple of options, including returning to dock for different gear that would allow us to transition to an inland fish.  We elected to stay out but closer to shore.  Many other charter boats did the same and nobody was having any luck.  Since our trip was more about hooking a fish than eating them, he suggested we move in behind a shrimp boat to reel in a shark that was nearly guaranteed.  True to his word, we caught two 5’ lemon sharks.  By that point, the choppy water was causing my youngest a bout of seasickness so we called it mission complete and headed in.  Capt Ballard was consistently concerned that we were enjoying the trip and worked hard to find us some fish.  He even reduced our charge due to the unforeseen change in plans.  Thanks, David!  You were professional and patient and even if the fish weren’t biting we had a fine time as you can tell from the smile on my son’s face.
