None of the pictures on this post are of the crew, boat, or fishing grounds. We were expecting a nice, new(2015 as the post describes) boat - and instead we got something out of the late 90s, held together with drywall screws, duct tape, wood glue and the fighting chair(ha) had no back. I could’ve looked past the obvious neglect of the craft, if it wasn’t for the uncharacteristically unprofessional crew. Normally when you board a charter - the captain or first mate will lay out the rules of engagement and set the mood for happy productive day. These boys did nothing of the sort. No guidance was given, no happy atmosphere was established, and hardly any attention was paid to the paying customers. The crew was completely content with hanging out on the upper deck(for most of the time) cackling and chatting with one another. I’m a realist, and I know that there’s always the chance of not catching fish on a trip - it happens, so not catching anything would’ve been fine if the trip itself would’ve been fun. Yes this is a cheaper charter, but be warned - you get what you (don’t) pay for.
