The captain and mate were the best just as before had a great time will be back
First, our original day was on a day that was windy and choppy.ย Captain was honest and informative about the conditions for fishing on his boat.ย He offered options for us to choose, a bigger boat with someone else or different day with him. We truly appreciated his looking out for our best interest.ย
Captain Bill and Dan were all hands on deck helping our two families. The boat fit us all comfortably - 4 adults, 5 kids.ย There were lots of options for shade or sun.ย They also made sure the kids had a good time.
100% recommend. Thanks!

In April of this year a group of 10 guys came to Hypoloxo from Savannah, Ga to go out deep sea fishing. Mother nature decided otherwise and gave us 13-16 foot seas the entire stay. Captain Cox did his best to accommodate us, attempting to get us out on the water the following two days with no success. The trip was rescheduled for September 13th with 7 fishermen remaining and this time Hurricane Lee and the weather cooperated, giving us gentle seas and HOT weather. We wrestled a few sharks, one maybe 200+ lbs, caught 20+ yellowtail snapper (12 keepers, 17.5โ best) drifting, a couple baby bulls (mahi), one a keeper at about 25โ, a couple remora (Fun fact, they attach to their host for travel (Phoresis) by nature not for parasitic reasons), a few trigger fish and a barracuda. In some cultures they tie the tail of the remora to a line and send them out to latch onto sea turtles to catch them. Both Captain Cox and Tyler the first mate were wonderful and did everything in their power to make the trip as special as it can be, putting up with a lot of nonsense from us. We are excited to get the next trip scheduled, hopefully as a more regular adventure with the rest of the guys that did not make it this time, I am after a wahoo. I would recommend Southern Comfort IV charter fishing for anyone looking for a good time with a good dinner to follow. Happy fishing everyoneโฆ Eric L

We took our family on a trip with Captain Bill and First Mate Tyler. Everyone had a great time and we caught some fish. The weather was perfect. Many thanks to the boat crew for a great time.

Captain Dan provided a warm and fun experience as we brought in yellowtail snappers and groupers.ย We saw huge Bull sharks too.ย With a group of 4 children ranging 6+ this was a perfect family event.
