Three high school football players capped off their COVID senior year with a fun day of fishing. Making memories…Thank you Capt Mike for making it happen!

I took my son and a friend out with Fintastic, because we wanted to get some ideas about fishing the Matagorda Bay Area. Stan definitely put us on the fish, but unfortunately most of the redfish we caught were “shorts” and they had to go back. We did catch a nice Black Drum and one redfish that was a keeper - a 26 inch redfish.

Stan can’t control the size of the fish or conditions and he was in Communication with other fishermen and “shorts” seemed to be the order of the day - or we would have moved to somewhere else. We did see plenty of action though, so all in all we had a great day on the water as we did catch dozens of fish.
