Me, my sister and my mom went out with Captain RJ on a 4 hr morning trip for my moms early birthday present. Captain RJ was great, it was like fishing with an old friend who loved fishing as much as we do. We fished a couple different setups and caught plenty of fish. The highlights were my mom catching a nice bull red and my sister catching a small shark. My mom was super excited feeling the battle reds give you and she had the biggest smile once it was landed. And my sister had always wanted to catch a shark so she was super pumped as well. We caught plenty of other fish as well as I’m a big fan of catching new species we’ve never caught before and we added to that on this trip with the shark, a black sea bass and my sister caught a bunch of puffer fish. My sister and my mom both also caught 2 fish at once when my sister caught 2 croakers and my mom caught a pinfish and whiting at the same time on the double rigs. We also caught many oyster toadfish. In just this morning trip we caught many different species: redfish, Atlantic sharp nose shark, puffer fish, pinfish, croaker, black sea bass, oyster toadfish, and whiting. And we almost missed plenty of bites. I would highly recommend Captain RJ and we plan on looking him up again next year when we come back over to Myrtle Beach Area.

Although we didn’t catch anything worthwhile we really did enjoy ourselves! We had such a relaxing time and can’t wait to try it out again. Captain RJ was super attentive to those that needed a bit of extra help. He had such a positive attitude and made the trip so fun! Thanks again!

RJ took us along the shoreline of the ICW for casting to the shallows or just for bottom fishing. Our party caught many different species, croakers, spot, flounder, gray snappers, and one large fish that broke a 40 # line after a 20 minute fight. RJ was very good with my son and greatkids.

Great day with Captain RJ!  Got me and three teenage boys on the fish.  Caught 3 really nice flounder and a huge redfish along with several other species.  Very nice open boat and the captain is fun, helpful, and very knowledgeable.
