We had a half day trip on 8/16 with Captain Froggy on the sound at OBX.  We had a lot of fun on his boat and fishing for trout and red drum.  Unfortunately the fishing wasn’t great but we did catch 2 large fish.  There were 4 of us, and we all enjoyed the trip.  Captain Froggy provided everything and we got a good lesson on how to fish better.  He was entertaining and regaled us with stories and jokes.  Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend his charter.  Logistically it was very smooth, we drove to the marina where Captain Froggy’s boat was, and paid him via CC on the boat at the end.  Thanks!

We had an amazing afternoon with Captain Froggy! He knew exactly where to find the fish and made sure we had a positive experience. My nine year old was scared of being on the boat at first and he helped her feel at ease really quickly.  By the end of the trip they were good friends, she was totally comfortable and she reeled in six fish all on her own!  He gave us choices on where we were going to fish and helped us make an informed decision based on his recent experiences on what was biting and where.  This was a great fishing experience! If you’re looking for a fun afternoon with family or friends, I highly recommend fishing with Captain Froggy!

My family has been out with a few guides for inshore trips over the last few years and Froggy was easily the best trip I’ve been on. Communication was easy, and he proactively checked in to understand our group and level of experience to ensure everyone enjoyed the trip. Froggy was fun and energetic, and his excitement was contagious every time we hooked a fish.

Froggy has been fishing in the area for 25+ years and knows exactly where to go. The boat was comfy, and the gear was set up perfectly for the fishing we were doing.  Trout were hitting that week, and the action was nonstop. We filled the cooler and fed our family of 20 that night. I highly recommend fishing with Froggy, regardless of your level of experience. My family is looking forward to fishing with him again next year!
