Had a great time with Captain Shad. Equipment was in good condition, boat was nice, and Shad was great as well. The fish weren’t biting due to very poor weather conditions and Shad offered to cut the trip short for a discount. Very impressed with his honesty as he could have sailed us around for hours knowing we wouldn’t catch anything. If you’re looking for a fishing trip Captain Shad is your man. We will be booking him again next time we are in town.

Captain Shad gave my husband and I a great experience during our inshore fishing trip.  Besides being extremely knowledgeable regarding navigating the waters and where to find the fish, he is also a great story teller. No matter the questions we asked, he had an answer ready with additional details making it fun to learn. He is laid back and fun to be with. My husband and I booked the 3 hour inshore trip with Captain Shad, and we had a blast! Captain Shad was very friendly and he really put effort into making sure we had an enjoyable trip and caught plenty of fish. We had the chance to see some dolphins, caught plenty of speckled trout, and Captain Shad cleaned & filleted the fish for us to bring home. His knowledge and experience can’t be beat. If we are ever back in the Myrtle Beach area, we will absolutely be booking with him again. I’d highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a fun day out on the water. Thanks Captain!

Captain Shad was a great host for our charter trip off the North Myrtle Beach coast! Unfortunately no keepers today, but we did hook some fish. We had an awesome time, learned some stuff, saw some history, caught some fish, raced a sea turtle and captured great memories!
