Overall had a great experience. I think it would be nice to have the option to bring more fish home; perhaps that was something I misread ahead of time but otherwise no complaints. Sounds like we just missed out on catching lots of salmon during a salmon run.

For a greater opportunity at keeping more fish I would recommend a full day trip in mid June, late July or early August to coincide with the peak salmon season on your next visit to the Kenai.
