We had an amazing time fishing for walleye with Captain Chris! He is really laid back with kids and knows where to find the fish. He even let my dad use some of the older lures he used years ago to catch walleye & we caught walleye some using them. Finally, he is very in tune with the weather and gave me daily reports 3 days before and right up to the morning of our trip. Having a potty on board is also a definite advantage to Captain Chris’s boat. Highly recommend!!

We should play the lottery because we were really lucky with warm weather and calm water all day.  We cast and trolled for the whole time.  Captain Chris was always adjusting tackle to match the conditions.  We caught our limit.  We had a bit of a dry spell where there was no action.  Our mystical fish dance, hand clapping and dragging of the good luck towel didn’t work.  Eventually our luck changed and we finished the day with another nice walleye.

Highly recommend Captain Chris for your next fishing excursion. Very knowledgeable and easy going.  Our group had never been walleye fishing before, and Chris was able to quickly teach us how it’s done and some of the tips & tricks.  10/10 plan on booking again.

A fantastic day! Highly recommend Chris! Patient, knowledgeable, straight shooter with a great sense of humor. Reached out the day before to suggest moving start time up because the bite would be better. Boy was he right! We will definitely use Chris again!

What an awesome experience, he was not only a captain but felt like one of the family, water was really rough to start, he made sure of our safety first, fish were rough at first,  he took every technique till he made sure we were able to land some walleys.  We will do this in the future with him again.
