Boat was immaculate, gear was top notch. Captain Chuck is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Captain contacted us ahead of time and offered to switch trip to a day with a more favorable fishing conditions then we had originally booked. We are glad we took this option as he put us on the fish and kept us on them all day long.  Caught more fish than we could count !  Absolutely would book ABOVE THE SALT fishing charters again .

Great experience!  Definitely would recommend Capt Chuck.  Very knowledgeable and   Extremely helpful.  He knew the hot spots that made our trip fun and exciting.  If you are considering a fishing trip near Destin, this is the one!

It does not get any better than this. We caught over 100 fish with Captain Chuck Madden including a 21 pound Amber Jack!  Don’t cheat yourself, book the 8-hour trip, you won’t be disappointed. As we drove about 40 minutes back to our rental we talked more about Captain Chuck than the fishing - this man takes real pride in caring for his customers. This day was more than we had hoped for.

We had a great time with Captain Chuck. We caught our limit of Red Snapper plus a variety of other fish including Bonita and Almaco Jack. The boat and gear were great. The hooks always baited and we received expert instructions. After the trip our fish cleaned for us quickly. We plan having another outing with Above the Salt Charters on a future trip to the beach.

Very professional from start to finish, kind and hardworking to get us on fish and keep everyone baited, did whatever we needed and wanted to make our day enjoyable, thanks Chuck Caught fish we had to release besides what went in the cooler, and that’s not counting all the bites we lost and a couple BIG ones that got off!, Thanks again Chuck
