Captain Shane tried super hard today to get us a bunch of keepers, but the conditions just weren’t in our favor. Water temp dropped overnight which sent the bigger fish to deeper water. We caught a bunch of fish, just not many keepers. He stayed out extra long to keep trying to get us on so.e better fish. He’s a really good captain who cares that his charters have the best experience as possible. We still had a blast out on the water catching a bunch of fish, just needed to be bigger. That’s why they call it fishing and not limiting. Would definitely go out with him again next time we’re in town!

Caught a variety of fish - specks, snook, red fish, lady fish and the obligatory lizard fish!  In the back waters, Shane likes sighting fish and casting artificials. If you like this type of fishing - which I do - you’ll have a great day.

Captain Shane was awesome he put us right on top of the tarpon unfortunately they weren’t biting. he tried everything He ended up taking us back out the following day on his dime and we scored many thanks to Captain Shane
