Had a great trip with Gerald yesterday.  He was on time and ready to go as soon as we got there.  Good size boat, clean, comfortable and organized.  Nice rods and reels and plenty of bait.  We’re used to the chaotic deep sea and jetty fishing out of Galveston so this was an unexpectedly nice change for me.  Kicked my feet up, rod resting on my legs, and caught a bunch of striper without breaking a sweat.  Relaxing atmosphere with still a lot of action.  Good conversations with Gerald as we share some common places and faces back in the DFW area.  Overall, an excellent experience and we’ll definitely book with Gerald again.  Plus, the DFW to Pottsboro driving time: 1 hour and 20m minutes.  Beats the 4.5 hour trip back from Galveston to DFW when I can barely keep my eyes open ;-)

Everything was as advertised, Captain was great with kids, reeled in a big haul, and we will be back.

We enjoyed our trip with Captain Gerald. We caught our limit of fish. He was most helpful with the equipment & cleaning the fish.

Everyone on board had a great time,. Hooked up on some monster Striper and capt was very helpful with pointers.

Gerald put us right on the fish first thing and didn’t let up until we limited out. Great day!
