Took my daughter and her boyfriend. Bill acknowledge that the fishing had been tough the past couple of days. Bill and Jimmy worked their a$$es off to put us on fish. I’ve been blessed to have taken many charters all around the world. Its refreshing when you get a captain and mate that constantly work changing baits checking line, water temps contacting others out on the water all in an effort to put fish top side….trust me they all dont do this! We (the kids) went 5 for 7. Two nice kings, 2 coho and a dandy steelhead. We bested all the other charters out. No doubt because of the knowledge and efforts put forth by Bill and Jimmy. Best advice I can give someone who is going out for their first charter or 100th…do your home work!  Check reviews from multiple sources, call bait shops if your close visit the docks and cleaning stations. You’ll find a theme with whos the best in the local area! Dont just pick the cheapest! Though most times you’ll find charters in an area are very close in price! If a couple hundred bucks either way makes a difference charters might not be for you! Go with the best! In this case Sea flee is very reasonable and right in line with the other charters out of Grand Haven. I have fished these waters for 45+ years I know em and know when a captain and mate
are putting in the efforts it takes on tough days! SEA FLEA did just that! Bill and jimmy are at the top of their game…obviously I highly recommend them! One last point If you cant afford to tip you cant afford to hire a charter 20% minimum of course based on experience, how much the captain and mate work for ya…not on how many or how big the fish are! TIP!!! Again you cant go wrong with Sea Flea! Good luck and tight lines!!
