We enjoyed our trip. The captain (Bruno) and Guillermo did a great job. They demonstrated their ability and knowledge about Marlin fishing.
After several hours we could see very close up to seven White Marlines (in three different groups). Unfortunately they did not get our natural baits (“pez aguja”).
We saw two groups of dolphins, several “pez luna”. We learnt about the tecniques to fish Marlines.
And we enjoyed with the explanations about the places to fish in Algarve. With their support we got a Baila by spinning.

We have a great trip with captain Bruno and William. Both are very nice, know the sea and what to do.
My son (7 years old) had a great day and we saw many fishes. Everything was really perfect.

Booked the reef fishing to introduce our granddaughters to fishing…...the crew made sure that they are well and truly hooked.  We had a brilliant day and caught well in excess of 50 fish between the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 children). The crew couldn’t have been more helpful than they were. Cant recommend this company highly enough. Would definitely re-book with Aquasares and will save the Fishingbooker App for future trips.

At first glance I must admit the the size of the boat caused a little concern for a party of 6 adults.

But the size was perfect and never caused any problems - not during transport, not while fishing and not even with 2 big Tunas on the deck.

We had a great day:
Bruno (the Captain) and his family was extremely service minded and had even arranged for gluten free lunch to accommodate our special needs.

And when it came to the actual fishing it doesn’t become any better…..we caught 2 big tuna fish (app. 180 & 220kg) and they captain and his crew assisted us with do’s and don’t every step of the way. From initial hook to actually getting the fish on the boat. 

We booked a 6 hours trip originally planed to start in the morning. But Bruno reached out a few days in advanced an recommended that we went in the afternoon instead to increase our success rate. So we did - and even though we only paid for 6 hours there was never any complaints that the trip ended up taking almost 8 hours due to the struggling with the last fish.

This was our fist Big Game experience but absolutely not our last. And if we are ever going back to Portugal we will be looking up Bruno and his crew for a second tour.

If you are considering Big Game Fishing I only have one advice: GO, GO, GO….
