Captain Benny put us on a boat with Captain Tyler. What an amazing young man. We were only on the water a few minutes before we started catching. Between the two of us we ended up with a really nice mahi-mahi, two small sailfish, several Bonita, a big king mackerel, and a trophy sized cero mackerel. We only ended up staying on the water for about 3 hours and had an absolute blast. If anyone wants to go out and catch fish off the coast of Ft Lauderdale, Captain Benny is definitely the guy to call. Add to that, Captain Tyler recommended a great place for us to go eat dinner. The Quartdeck on 17th. We took some of the mahi-mahi fillets into the restaurant and they cooked them for us right there. The chef cooked our fish three different ways and all of them were absolutely delicious. Again, don’t mess up and book with someone else. This is the team to go with.

It started our looking like an over priced boat ride . The Captain (will call him Jack .. Jack Daniels) He started out a lil slow… He chased down a few pretty ladies on jet skis and Hollered at them to let them know they were potentially his future ex wife . I approve of captain Jacks taste and encouraged the persuit 🤓. After chasing a few rainbows , we were on the fish !
The first one was a tad small , but we got the skunk off the boat 🦨 …
The second fish was not no regular fish . It was a MONSTER !  The pole Bent the Rod went screaming , captain shouted “FISH ON” and I was off the races …  The knowledgeable Captain walked me through how to land this 🏆  … At one point we thought we were gonna lose this record BARRACUDA .. AT one point in the pursuit The fish darted under the boat ,  And with out hesitation Captain Jack took the pole out the rod holder and jumped overboard ( we were in shock but cheered him on ) he swam under the boat still holding the rod . As the boat drifted in the waves we got a Little nervous because we aren’t the most experienced boaters . But once we saw jack crawl back up on the other side of the boat POLE IN HAND . Still In disbelieve , Captain handed me the pole and said REEL .. As the others Helped Jack out the water I struggled to get my trophy catch to the boat, and I could tell “This was a BIG ONE !”
