What an amazing morning bite! It was my first time trolling on Lake Michigan. My husband and brother-in-law were with me to reel in a mixed bag of 12 fish including a huge king salmon and many rainbow trout. I really liked fishing with Captain Rob because he was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic the entire trip. Furthermore, he was able to move us to a day with better weather so that we could have a successful day, not only a sign of his fishing acumen but also a mark of a guide who is not just looking to take your money. The boat is clean and spacious with a toilet. His equipment and rods were all in great shape. We are so happy with our experience and will be recommending Captain Rob to all our friends. We will definitely be back in the future.

We are a group of guys that had never done a Lake Michigan Charter.  We fish almost weekly through the summer for bass.  This year we thought we’d try a Great Lakes charter.  We left the marina at 4:30 am this morning and had hit our catch limit of 5 large salmon or trout before 10 am.  It was incredible and I would attribute almost 100% of that success to Captain Rob!  His excitement for fishing is contagious.  He knowledge of what it takes to land King Salmon, Lake Trout and Rainbow trout is second to none.  I highly recommend this charter.

It was a pleasure with Captain Rob! Before our trip he did well to keep in touch and let me know any updates and answered questions. Out on the water He prepped all the rods as we got to sit comfortably or reeled in fishes. To maximizes everyone’s chances for fish being caught, he also communicated well with other captains for their reports to help get an idea of where the bite is as well as letting them know his fish was caught. He was a very friendly and he got us on some fish. I’d be happy do it again!

We booked the charter fishing trip with Captain Robert for our sons birthday. Never had fished on the lake before, or been on a chartered boat, we did not know what to expect. Robert made us feel comfortable, explained what to do and expect, and was very knowledgeable. We had a great time, caught some nice fish, and was very relaxing.
