Excellent fishing trip! Captain Ryan was knowledgeable about the area, shared some great stories and taught us several distinguishing facts about South Padre. We had a rare North Wind that blew in that could have ruined our fishing, but Captain had a few spots in mind that put us on the fish. Great first time experience! Captain Ryan was available on short notice and responded rapidly to any questions. After the details were finalized we headed out and he found the fish! First cast and we hooked into speckled trout. We were able to bag several keepers throughout the morning. Captain Ryan worked the shallow bay all morning to find us fish. We connected with Ryan very easily. He was warm and genuine. He worked tirelessly all morning baiting hooks and removing fish from our lines. He put us on a boatload of trout and redfish and he was as excited as we were to catch them. We had a great time and made lasting memories.
