We booked an afternoon half day trip with Captain Roy on the tail end of our vacation, and it was the highlight of the trip. Captain Roy let us explore and learn for ourselves for the first half hour of the trip before teaching us a ton abut the local fish and lifestyle here. It was amazing to spend that much time with someone who is so knowledgeable about the sea life but the entire area in general as well. The sunset was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time riding around to different areas and catching a variety of fish! He accommodated all of our different knowledge and comfort levels when it came to fishing, and challenged us to push our limits. Highly recommend a trip with Captain Roy

Booked the trip for me, my parent, and my fiance for father’s day. It was a blast. Roy took us to a few spots to catch, we weren’t able to keep anything due to the time of the year but we still had so much fun. He was knowledgeable and helpful, and he absolutely gives you the same energy you bring. We all were laughing, cutting up, making fun of each other, etc. Will most definitely be booking again.

Quite an entertaining half day of fishing.  Opportunity to catch was there, the missed opportunity was the guys running the reels not the guide.  Being from the Midwest and pretty experienced at fishing, this was a learning experience and Roy was patient at teaching techniques. He did tease a lot which made the trip fun. I will call Ultimate Fishing Charters for my next trip when we are in the area. Thanks Roy!!

Captain Roy worked his tail of doing his best to keep us on fish on our 8 hour trip. He was personable and funny. He worked numerous fishing spots. It was a great experience for my wife who was on her first ever fishing experience. My son who has been on two previous fishing trips said Captain Roy was his favorite. We will definitely booking him in our future trips to FL.
