Captain Jim runs a first-class operation. He was extremely attentive and reached out multiple times before our trip to give us weather updates and what to expect for our trip. You can tell that he cares about his clients and wanted us to have a seamless experience. He put us on fish from the time we dropped anchor to the time we headed back in. Countless grouper and snapper. I mean countless… they have a family operation. Jim’s son Haven was helping him out today, a fine young man. Just a great time. Is the trip expensive? Yes. But in this case, you get what you pay for. Those guys worked their tails off for us and were super pleasant to boot. The boat/equipment were super high quality. We will be booking them again!

We had a great experience with Captain James and Alex fishing offshore.  This was our first time fishing off Sanibel and Captiva, there were three of us in our party, and we all caught huge fish.  James has spots to find the fish, and all I can say is ...WOW.  If you are interested in catching fish, do yourself a favor and hire him.  We limited out on red grouper early, and then moved off to catch some beautiful mangrove, red and yellow tail snapper.  We also were surprised by a school of Mahi, and James and Alex quickly helped us change our rigs to fish shallow, allowing us to haul some in.  Alex was great helping my sister, who never really fished before, to catch a nice grouper.  Both of them are seasoned professionals, with the best equipment, the boat is fast, clean and well equipped. But the best part is that they are just really nice people.  Thanks again for such a great time!!

Capt Jim and Alex were a terrific team and a pleasure to spend the day with. Not to mention the TON of fish we caught and were able to bring home to enjoy. The day was fantastic and this team was skilled, knowledgeable, kind, and funny. Highly recommend them!

We went miles off Sanibel and caught 9 different species of fish, and the Red Grouper bite was on!
