Captain Duke and his first mate Gavin were wonderful. They were ready right on time.  They were both super friendly and engaged with the kids.  Gavin happily answered my kids 5,000 questions and let them help lead the fish in.  Gavin was super organized, calm and did and amazing job with the kids. Captain Duke was funny and friendly.  We really enjoyed our trip, had a great family experience and have a freezer full of fish!  This was an amazing experience and they are very kid friendly.  We recommend this to anyone looking for a great day on the water.

I got this trip for my husband with the guys in our family while we visited OBX for our yearly vacation. While I wasn’t personally on the trip, Captain Duke was very easy to communicate with and even made time to reschedule the trip on a different day of the week to ensure better weather. All of the guys said they had a great time and are already talking about booking again next year when we come back. They all had nothing but great things to say about Captain Duke and his first mate! Looking forward to coming back again!

Had a great trip with Captain Duke. We had a party of 4 adults and two kids. After doing some trolling for Spanish mackerel we went bottom fishing. This was my favorite part of the trip catching black sea bass aplenty and the sharks that started attacking them while reeling them in! Unfortunately both kids were sea sick and one was not shy in expressing his displeasure. Both mates were friendly, accommodating and hard working. After moving closer to shore and trolling, both kids got much better and we finished our trip catching more mackerel and bluefish. Before fileting we had 60 pounds of fish which was plenty split up between two families. Would recommend this trip and book again in future.

Captain Duke and Gavin were extremely knowledgeable, professional and we had a blast spending the morning with them in OBX. We did a 1/2 day trip (4.5 hours) and it was the perfect amount of time to spend out on the water for novice fisherman like us. My 8 year old son had so much fun reeling in Spanish mackerel and false albacore. Would highly recommend Captain Duke and his team. Thanks again for an awesome morning!
