The boat was great, the mate was great, and the Captain nice enough, but we caught one fish we could eat, nothing photo worthy. My issue with the trip is we have a $1200 fish. I realize fishing is fishing, but we chartered the boat to catch fish. I feel the Captain did not give us his 100 percent, and should have changed his tactics and put us on the fish somewhere, which is the whole purpose of a charter. This was our first charter in the keys and to be honest it was a big let down. The Keys are supposed to be one of the best fishing experiences around, Iโve caught more and had more fun fishing in the creek behind my house. Total disappointment.
