I booked this trip for my son’s 19th birthday. We had such a great time I think we’ll make it an annual trip! Neither of us had any experience fishing for salmon. Captain Andrews coached us through it and we both were able to catch big Chinooks! I appreciated his expertise, patience and ability to make this experience accessible to even the most novice anglers (us).

We had the absolute best experience on our afternoon charter with Captain Thao. He was knowledgeable and guided my husband and I through an excellent afternoon of fishing. He put us on the fish from start to finish and his energy level made it even more enjoyable. Best charter my husband has ever done. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get on the fish.

We had a great time and caught our limit. We were with Captain Thao and first made Donovan. Both were nice, helpful, fun, and clearly experts at fishing. They were quick to help and made sure our lines were baited and that we were on the fish the whole time. Came home with plenty of cleaned salmon to share for dinner. We would definitely go again.

We had a great four hour trip. Limited out on pinks in a couple hours and had a great time for the remainder of the trip. Capt. Andrews is very knowledgeable and funny to be around. The gear is top quality as all the rods where G. Loomis with Shimano tekato reels. You won’t be disappointed if you book with Cut Plug charters.

We had a fun time, Captain Andrew kept us moving and getting us to the spots where the fish were. We were active all day between hand fishing(can’t remember what he called it so I’ll call it hand fishing) and then trolling. The captain was friendly and patient with us and he was funny too.
