We had an amazing time with Joe for a full day on the water. He was equipped with everything we needed and very knowledgable. This trip I planned as a surprise for my fiancé and it did not disappoint!! We loved being on the water and chatting with Joe. He is a great guy and knows exactly what he is doing. He is experienced, knowledgable of the River, fish, and area and takes great care of his clients while you’re out on the water. He is patient and overall an excellent guide. We will definitely be back for another fishing trip and recommend him to anyone visiting in the area looking to spend their time out on the beautiful Toccoa River.

Zach took us onto the lower Toccoa the first day. He works with Joe DiPietro. The river was high as the power company had recently dumped water due to heavy rains. Zach worked tirelessly to find fish. We didn’t catch many but it was a function of the conditions. Zach took us on the upper Toccoa the next morning and we caught a lot more fish. The largest was a 16 inch rainbow. He worked with my son on his fly fishing technique. Both days he fished for nearly an hour longer than the allotted time. North Georgia Trout Fishing goes the extra mile to help you catch fish! This is our second year with them and we will be back.

Being a novice fly fisherman did not deter Captain Joe from teaching me the “arts of fly fishing “. Caught my limit of trout when I finally got the hang of it. Wish I had an ounce of his patience!
