Although McKenzy’s Captain Tyler had had a serious medical emergency the day before our scheduled fishing charter, McKenzy exerted tremendous effort to find another Captain, but to no avail.  It was just not possible to find another Captain on such short notice.  McKenzy knew that I had two friends from Hawaii looking forward to an ocean fishing charter.  Instead, we had a shore fishing experience that was fun and immensely enjoyable.

What I appreciated was that McKenzy was upfront about the difficulties with his Captain, and that he sincerely wanted us to have a wonderful fishing experience.  At the end of the day, McKenzy returned to me some of the money that I had paid him since we had not been able to go ocean fishing.  He returned the money without me having to ask him, which I really appreciated.

We had such a great day out with Tyler! Beautiful, sunny day in March! Tyler was a great captain and did everything he could to get us on some fish! Would recommend him and the team to anyone!
