Great time yesterday with Capt Shad on our Near Shore fishing trip. We didn’t have many bites on our lines with the rough seas and low sea temps but had a great experience for our first time out. Capt is knowledgeable and did his best to find us some fish. We caught about 5-7 small sized Spanish mackerel. Will try again when weather warms up and hopefully with calmer seas.
This trip was for our dad who just turned 80 in February, was on his bucket list and he was so happy for his 3 boys to experience this with him.

Cruised out over 3 miles from Ocean Isle to place my mom and dad’s ashes. Captain Shad was so compassionate and happy to help us out with my parents wishes. Thank you!

This was a treat for our 10 and 12 yr. Old grandsons.  Shad was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and extremely good and attentive to the boys.  Very nice boat with excellent equipment.  The boys were excited with anything they caught and Shad took us to various fishing spots.  We will definitely plan another trip with Shad.  My husband, the grandsons and I definitely recommend Captain Shad.  He was good with the children and adults and had many interesting stories and fishing tips.

Had a great time with Captain Shad. Equipment was in good condition, boat was nice, and Shad was great as well. The fish weren’t biting due to very poor weather conditions and Shad offered to cut the trip short for a discount. Very impressed with his honesty as he could have sailed us around for hours knowing we wouldn’t catch anything. If you’re looking for a fishing trip Captain Shad is your man. We will be booking him again next time we are in town.

Captain Shad was a great host for our charter trip off the North Myrtle Beach coast! Unfortunately no keepers today, but we did hook some fish. We had an awesome time, learned some stuff, saw some history, caught some fish, raced a sea turtle and captured great memories!
